Within in reason we try and stay open whatever the weather, we have enough staff who can walk into school to keep things running even if it really snows and other schools decide to close. Each school has a different set of circumstances to consider. If it does snow please send the children to school in Wellington boots with their shoes in a bag, we will go out and play in the snow. It is worth remembering that the roads can be covered in snow and ice at 7.00am and that they are usually cleared by 10.00am so sometimes arriving at school a little later can help. However, we do take advice from the emergency services and would have to close if our heating, electricity or water were disrupted. If we did have to close we would let you know by Parentmail, post on Facebook, Twitter, put it on the website and let BBC Radio Lincs and Lincs FM know.
