General advice to parents regarding next week in school

Start and end of day

Only one parent per child pick up and drop off. No parents inside the buildings (sorry).

Follow the one-way system.

Stay 2 metres away from other parents and children.

Keep left when walking up and down the track.

Keep to your allocated time. We will not open the gates early and we may not be able to accept late arrivals.

Siblings: drop off both/all children at the time given for the earliest sibling and collect at the time given for the latest.

Please encourage Year 6 children to come in on their own and meet you at a designated place outside school at the end of the day.

If your child becomes upset, you must decide whether to leave them with their teacher or take them home.

If you need to get a message to a member of staff, please either tell Mr Tapley or Mrs Browning on the playground or call in at the front office. Please do not stop at pick up and drop off times as this will hold up proceedings.

Unfortunately, we cannot allow bikes or scooters onto the school premises during this time.

There will be no school lunches provided at this time – every child will need to bring a packed lunch to school.

If your child becomes unwell at school we will call you and ask that you collect your child from the ‘disco’ doors. A TA will stay with your child and sit outside (weather permitting).

If your child displays any symptoms, please stay at home

If any member of your household displays symptoms of coronavirus, you must request a test for your family and keep your child at home.

If any family member tests positive, you must inform the school immediately.

If a case is reported to school, the relevant children and staff will isolate for 14 days.

Each child may bring one bag to school which will contain their lunch and PE kit.

Each child’s bag/coat will be kept on a chair at their table.

No bookbags or any other items from home should be brought into school.

Reading books will be kept in school.
School uniform please.

Please give the school a ring or e-mail me at if you have any questions.
