Hull Minster

On behalf of Charlie Penson, who attended the Alvey and then tragically died in the R.38 airship disaster in 1921, David and Ithar laid his medals on the altar as part of the centenary service of commemoration today in Hull Minster. These were the medals you all helped raised funds for on our JustGiving page. After the service finished we were driven in a vintage dome top bus to Hull Cemetery to take part in a wreath laying ceremony and watch a Spitfire fly past. It was a real honour to be invited and we were proud to represent Charlie.
