Did you know the children from William Alvey helped design the 'When in Sleaford' Town Trail? One of our children sat in on the interviews to select the artist, David Mackie. David also made the WWI memorial plaque outside the school and has just finished a 19th roundel which we are going to put up in Lloyds Bank. You can get a map of the trail from the NCCD, there is also a set of roundel stickers that you can put on the map every time you find one. Great fun and a lovely walk around Sleaford. You can see in the photos below how cleverly David incorporated the children's ideas into the final roundels.
