At the start of Year 6, we launched our topic of prehistory with some exciting activities. The children learnt how the Stone Age people were hunter-gatherers and foraged for foods. The children then had a chance to forage in the forest area, light a fire using flint and they tried all the foods through the ages. They had berry stew, flatbreads with a bean paste and meat stew.
