Introducing Little Hoots to our Nursery!

The William Alvey School is excited to launch Little Hoots from September 2026, our new wraparound care provision for Nursery children. Providing a safe, caring and relaxed home-from-home environment, Little Hoots offers:

• Morning sessions from 7.30am–8.40am (including breakfast)
• Afternoon sessions from 3.15pm–6.00pm (including a light tea)
• Fun activities, play, stories and outdoor adventures

Whether your child needs a calm start to the day or a fun-filled afternoon with friends, our experienced team will ensure they feel happy, safe and valued.

The provision will take place in our nursery room, giving children the comfort of a familiar space and the reassurance of being cared for by William Alvey staff they already know and trust. Our aim is to provide a relaxed, welcoming “home-from-home” environment where children can play, explore and unwind.

Children will enjoy a variety of child-led activities, supported by our staff, including:

• Access to our outdoor play area
• Games and seasonal activities
• Creative crafts
• Opportunities for quiet and relaxing play

For families who are eligible for early years funding, this funding can also be used towards the wraparound hours if you wish.
